Serving Stark County with more than just vehicles for four generations

Progressive Chevrolet is committed to giving back to this area because the people of Stark County are not just our customers. They are our neighbors, friends and family. When J.S. Sanders first founded Progressive Chevrolet in 1937, he started the legacy of giving back and getting involved in the community that makes our business possible. We are proud to carry on the tradition to this day.

Progressive Stark County Fair

Progressive Chevrolet has been named the title sponsor for the Stark County Fair with over $150,000 donated to help support 4H and The Stark County Agricultural Society. The fair is one of Stark County's largest and longest-running events, with 2019 marking the 170th year of family-fun.

Progressive Civic Fund

In 1950, J.S. Sanders created the Progressive Civic Fund which has raised more than $500,000 for various local causes chosen by the employees at Progressive Chevrolet. Past recipients include organizations such as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Akron-Canton Food Bank, Siffrin, Boys & Girls Club, American Red Cross, Meals on Wheels, Western Stark Free Clinic, The Salvation Army and United Way of Greater Stark County.

Progress 4 the Cure

For years, Progressive Chevrolet has been actively involved in supporting breast cancer research through the Progress 4 the Cure campaign. In recent years, the team has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for the breast cancer centers at Aultman Hospital and Mercy Medical Center.

Massillon Little League

Progressive Chevrolet helped start the Massillon Little League program, supporting teams such as the Jackson Fury Soccer Club, Fairless Youth Baseball Softball Association, Perry Township Youth Soccer and North Canton Little League. We are also active sponsors for organizations such as the Humane Society and local high school marching bands.
