Wally Trace, Sales Manager at Progressive Chevrolet
While finishing up his business management degree, Wally was approached by some contacts who worked at Progressive about selling cars.
“I’m too honest to sell cars,” Wally said with a chuckle.
After being assured Progressive takes a different approach to car sales, Wally gave it a try. Fourteen years later, he still works at Progressive.
What’s made Progressive the right fit for Wally?
“The Sanders family is great to work for, and they do what they say they’ll do,” says Wally. “It’s been a good experience all around, and there are opportunities for career growth.”
He describes the company as family oriented and a place where people enjoy coming to work.
In his free time, Wally enjoys working on his house. He purchased a Tudor style “fixer upper” and has remodeled everything from ceiling to floor. Something people may not know about Wally is that he’s a 10-year Army veteran.
At work, Wally really enjoys the opportunity to help customers.
“I love seeing customers get excited about purchasing a new vehicle and seeing the smiles on their faces,” he says. “It’s really rewarding.”
