Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a Price Beat Promise from Progressive Auto Group?
Please talk to a solutions provider either at the store or call (330-833-8564 for Chevrolet or 330-833-8585 for Chrysler Dodge Jeep or Ram truck) and ask to talk to sales to discuss buying a new vehicle and getting the Price Beat Promise. Please tell us about, or show us the print out of the new vehicle lower price that is still in effect that you want Progressive Auto Group to Price Beat. Progressive will then log on to the Ohio competitor’s website to review and verify the price beat request.
What is considered an Ohio New Vehicle Dealership competitor?
Any licensed by the state of Ohio and authorized by these manufactures: Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram Trucks, to sell to the public and are located within the borders of Ohio.
How can the customer show “proof” of a dealer’s online price?
Progressive Auto Group’s recommendation is to bring into the showroom the competitor’s current ad or notify us of the website address and the stock number of the designated make and model. Progressive Auto Group may call the competitor’s sales department to determine if the price includes any programs or incentives that require membership or qualifications. Many new vehicle dealerships advertise prices that most people do not qualify for in order to post online a price that appears lower.
How low will Progressive Auto Group go to Price Beat a competitor?
As low as we need to for the Progressive Price to beat the Ohio competitor. As long as the competitor MSRP is identical to the in stock Progressive new vehicle and all the other price match criteria are met.
Can Service, Body Shop, or Parts also be part of the Price Beat Promise?
No. This program is only eligible for New Vehicles licensed to be sold by Progressive Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram Truck.
Does the Price Beat Promise apply to special orders?
No. Special order vehicles require more time and attention which is customary for any product being specially manufactured for a specific customer.
Is Progressive Auto Group’s Price Beat Promise also available on financing rates, payments and leases?
Progressive Auto Group Price Beat Promise for sale prices before tax and not a program for financing or leasing offers. Yet, all applicable lease and financing programs are available with the Price Beat Promise lower price with approved credit.
Is the Price Beat Promise also available on competitor claims about trade-in values and offers on trade-ins?
Progressive Auto Group will give each customer a price they are willing to pay for the trade, regardless of the purchase decision made by the customer. This value will be professionally determined by a highly trained manager at the dealership. Owners of the trade will be given a certificate with the trade purchase value good for 5 days from the in person appraisal date. Progressive does not claim to match or beat our competitors’ trade-in value and offers on trade-ins, but often does even with Price Beat Promise sale products.
