Delivering Immediate Impact to the Neighbors Who Need It Most
On Friday, March 20, we were proud to deliver two brand-new Chevy Trailblazers to Meals on Wheels of Stark County. But to understand why these vehicles matter, you have to look past the fresh paint and the new car smell. You have to look at the twenty years of history behind them.

A Legacy of Support
We don’t view our community partners as a "charity project." Through our Civic Fund, we have invested over $80,000 into Meals on Wheels over the last two decades. We aren't interested in "someday" support or complex insurance-based donations that only pay out in the distant future. We believe in making an impact today. The Call for Help
At the end of 2025, the Executive Director of Meals on Wheels approached us with a serious concern. Their current delivery fleet was aging rapidly. These vehicles are the literal lifelines of the organization, but they were becoming unreliable and—frankly—too expensive to keep on the road.
Every dollar spent on an emergency transmission repair or a tow truck is a dollar taken away from feeding a senior in our community.
The Anatomy of the Donation
We didn't want to just provide a "patch" for the problem; we wanted a solution. Through a transparent and collaborative effort, we secured two vehicles to ensure the fleet’s longevity:
Vehicle One: Fully funded through the generosity of The Chevy Network and Progressive Chevrolet, supported by targeted grant funding.

Vehicle Two: A three-way investment between our organization, The Chevy Network, and Meals on Wheels themselves. A true partnership showing that we are all "all in" on senior care.

Why the Trailblazer?
These vehicles aren't just for show. They offer the reliability needed to navigate Northeast Ohio winters, the efficiency to keep fuel costs down, and the safety features necessary to keep volunteers safe. Most importantly, they ensure that the "wheels" in Meals on Wheels never stop turning.

Beyond the Bottom Line
Our philosophy is different. We are honored to continue our 20-year legacy of giving, ensuring that in Stark County, no neighbor is ever left behind. When you see these Trailblazers on the road, know that they aren't just cars; they are a promise kept to the seniors of Stark County.
